NEWS FLASH

MANDATORY WATER USE RESTRICTION

Beginning Sunday, August 14, 2022, an increased Town-wide restriction on outdoor lawn watering will be in place that applies to all residential and commercial private well owners, with limited exceptions.

In response to the ongoing drought conditions and to aid in conserving water resources, the Town of Windham, in accordance with policy #WIN 2:00:27:16, “Regulation Restricting Outdoor Lawn Watering,” has implemented the following water restriction:

Level 2: 

  1. Outdoor lawn watering by odd-numbered addresses is allowed on Monday and Thursday only

  2. Outdoor lawn watering by even-numbered addresses is allowed on Tuesday and Friday only

  3. Outdoor lawn watering shall not occur between 8 AM and 8 PM

If applicable, it is essential to reprogram your system to comply with the period(s) set forth above. Please note that these restrictions pertain to the watering of lawn areas through irrigation, sprinklers, etc., and are not intended to prohibit the periodic hand watering of vegetable, herb, or flower gardens.

Violations are as follows: 

  •    First violation: Warning

  •    Second violation: $200 fine

  •    Additional violations: $1,000 fine

Residents are encouraged to bookmark the US/State Drought Monitor, updated each Thursday, for current drought conditions.

The 4th quarterly Meeting of the StoneArch Association Board (SAB) will be held on October 19, 2022, at 6:30 pm. The meeting will be held at the StoneArch Club House as well as via Zoom. Check here for any additional details or schedule changes.

Residency Rules

Any modifications to the Limited Common area surrounding your home must be approved by the Board of Directors. The Form to submit your request can be found in the Homeowners section.

Please read the Insurance Section of the By-laws. Each homeowner is required to carry an insurance policy with 100% replacement coverage, as well as coverage for the deductible on the Master Policy for the Association.
